What we deliver

Specialist Engineering Pods

AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud and data roles are the hardest GCC hires, and critical positions routinely take more than 45 days to fill. We put a pre-vetted pod in place now, deliver against your roadmap, and transfer it to your payroll when you're ready.

Scarce skills now, while your permanent team is hired

What the GCC actually needs

GCCs rarely struggle to hire generalist developers. They struggle to hire the first ten people in AI platform, IAM/PAM, cloud security or data engineering, and every month without them delays the mandate HQ approved.

Where it fits

Typically t-3 to t+6, t+6 to t+18 relative to launch. See the lifecycle.

How it's fulfilled

Delivered by Scutiger engineers, with the transfer path written into the contract.

What we deliver

1

Pods shaped to a mandate

Not "we supply developers": a 12-person AI platform team for Hyderabad, an IAM/PAM and cloud-security bench in 60 days, or a 15-person data-platform pod. Each pod has a lead, a delivery plan and outcome measures.

2

Build-operate-transfer

Pods are designed to transfer. Documentation, runbooks and hiring plans are built in from day one, and transfer terms are agreed upfront so your captive keeps the capability.

3

Agentic delivery leverage

Our engineers work with AI agents for scaffolding, tests and documentation, so a small senior pod covers ground that would otherwise take a much larger team.

What this covers

  • AI platform and MLOps pods
  • IAM / PAM and cloud-security engineering
  • Data platform and analytics engineering
  • Platform engineering and developer experience
  • Product engineering for new global mandates

Engagement shape

Monthly pods with a named lead, a quarterly roadmap and a pre-agreed transfer clause.

Questions about specialist pods

Isn't this just staff augmentation?

No. A pod owns a defined outcome, such as a landing zone, an IAM rollout or an ML platform, under its own lead and delivery plan. It is also designed to transfer into your captive. Staff augmentation adds individuals to your backlog and leaves you with the hiring problem.

How fast can a pod start?

Typically within two to four weeks of scoping for common pod shapes, faster than a permanent critical hire, which most GCCs report takes well over 45 days.

How does transfer to our payroll work?

Transfer terms, timing and any conversion fees are agreed before the pod starts. We hand over code, documentation, runbooks and, where people choose to move, the engineers themselves.

Does using a pod conflict with our insourcing strategy?

It supports it. The pod bridges the gap while your permanent organisation is hired, and is built to be absorbed rather than to create a long-term vendor dependency.
