Retail & Consumer GCCs
Retailers, restaurant groups, beverage and consumer-goods companies are opening first-time India centres for technology, data, finance and business services. We help them launch quickly and make the centre AI-first rather than a cheaper copy of HQ.
Digital commerce, supply chain and data for global brands
What these centres own
Consumer centres usually combine digital and e-commerce engineering, supply-chain and merchandising analytics, loyalty and personalisation, and shared business services for finance, HR and procurement. Many are first-time India entrants, which makes launch support unusually valuable.
What's specific to this sector
Consumer centres handle large volumes of customer and loyalty data under HQ privacy regimes and the DPDP Act, and they support systems that peak on sale days. We design for both: privacy-preserving data platforms and engineering that degrades gracefully under load.
We built the full-stack food ordering and delivery platform Travelkhana uses for Indian railway passengers, so we know high-volume consumer operations first-hand.
How we help Retail & consumer centres
Launch support for first-time entrants
City decision, procurement map, vendor layer and security launch package for brands opening their first India centre.
Business-services automation
Finance, HR and procurement processes transitioned from HQ with automation designed in. Invoice exceptions, supplier onboarding and employee queries are typical first targets.
Commerce and data engineering
Composable commerce, inventory accuracy and personalisation data platforms. We have built these for Indian consumer platforms and bring the same work to your centre.

Questions about Retail & consumer GCCs
What do first-time consumer-brand GCCs underestimate?
The number of first-time procurement decisions (twenty or more categories in two years) and the effort needed to build an employer brand that competes with established tech employers for the same engineers.
Which business-services processes should move first?
High-volume, rules-based finance and HR processes with clear service levels. They transition cleanly and are the best first candidates for automation.
Is a Tier-II city realistic for a consumer business-services centre?
Often, especially as a second site for finance and operations. Jaipur and other emerging cities can offer lower cost and attrition. Our City Index shows the trade-offs.
